IGLIDUR®

FILAMENT FOR 3D PRINTING

Processing parameters:

Extrusion temperature: 240 – 265 °C
Platform temperature: 95 – 110 °C

The name Iglidur describes a product brand of the Igus company for a so-called tribo-filament, which has been specially developed for the 3D printing industry and which is 50 times more abrasion resistant than conventional 3D printing materials. Iglidur workpieces therefore have a significantly longer service life.

This filament opens up completely new possibilities for the 3D printing of prototypes or special components. Due to its excellent tribological properties (that means friction and wear behavior), Iglidur is particularly recommended for spare or wear parts that can be moved by sliding or turning, such as slide bearings, drive nuts, gear wheels.

This special plastic is available in 2 versions: The I150 is easy to process and can therefore be processed well by beginners. The I180 is somewhat more demanding to work with and should therefore be used by experienced users.

Iglidur is perfectly suited for EVO-tech printers, as it can only be used if the 3D printer supports the FDM process (= Fused Deposition Modeling).

Iglidur ist in der Farbe weiß erhältlich.

Post-Processing

A wide range of post-processing methods is available for Iglidur. The plastic can be painted and glued.
